Cloudera Administrator

Install, configure, and maintain Cloudera Distribution for Hadoop (CDH) clusters.
Perform cluster upgrades and patch management to ensure the latest security and performance updates are applied.
Monitor cluster health and performance and implement necessary optimizations.
Manage and monitor HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System), ensuring high availability and data integrity.
Administer Hadoop ecosystem components such as Hive, HBase, Impala, Spark, and Kafka.
Implement and manage resource management using YARN (Yet Another Resource Negotiator).
Implement security best practices, including Kerberos authentication, data encryption, and access controls.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies.
Perform capacity planning and manage the scaling of clusters based on workload requirements.
Optimize cluster performance through resource allocation, tuning, and load balancing.
Troubleshoot performance issues and implement effective solutions.
Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for Hadoop clusters.
Perform regular backup operations and recovery drills to ensure data integrity and availability.
Develop automation scripts for cluster deployment, configuration, and maintenance using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Automate monitoring and alerting processes to proactively manage cluster health.
Set up and manage monitoring tools such as Cloudera Manager, Nagios, and Grafana to track cluster performance and health.
Generate regular reports on cluster usage, performance, and capacity.
Provide technical support to development and data engineering teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop clusters and ecosystem components.
Document cluster configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on Cloudera usage and administration.

Education- Engineering degree with MBA (Desirable) or Diploma / Engineering degree
