Sales Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets for frozen food products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the HoReCa segment, as well as retail and wholesale markets.
• The candidate should be open to travel across North East to explore and develop newer markets.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts to potential clients.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales and distribution processes.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the frozen food, FMCG, or HoReCa sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within North East.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the frozen food industry or working with foodservice distributors.
• Established network within the HoReCa industry.
• Knowledge of local and regional market dynamics.
