Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure CDN Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure CDN solutions to optimize the delivery of content and enhance the performance and security of web applications. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure seamless content delivery and address any technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of Azure WAF or any other WAF provided by the Client policies, real time synchronisation with on-prem WAF policies, other related day to day operations and deploy/implement any new policies for Azure WAF.

2. Backup of policies, configurations on web application firewall as per Client s backup policy.

3. New policy creation and real time synchronization with on-prem WAF policy to Azure WAF or any other WAF provided by the Client instances. Procurement, Renewal, Installation of Microsoft Licenses, Design, Development & Implementation, Facility Management and Implementation of Azure CDN solution.

4. New application onboarding and creation of required profiles policies to protect the application on Azure WAF or any other WAF provided by the Client.

5. Fine tuning of existing policies and newly created policies.

6. Health monitoring of Azure WAF or any other WAF provided by the Client instances and diagnosis and reporting of any abnormalities.

7. Creation of tickets and follow up till closure with OEM for any issues with Azure WAF or any other WAF provided by the Client.

8. Regular review and assessment of the events, security dashboard and reporting to the Client.

9. Coordination with other stake holders/team members for any diagnosis related to Azure WAF or any other WAF provided by the Client.

10. Installation of attack signatures and other security updates to keep devices up to date.

11. Keeping track of any new features or updates and deploying the same as per Client s requirement

12. Customization of Azure WAF or any other WAF provided by the Client rules and policies tailored to the specific needs and security posture of the Client ’s applications.

13. Configuration of proactive alerts for security incidents, anomalies, and performance degradation.

14. Incident response and investigation in case of security breaches or suspicious activities.

15. Load balancing configuration to distribute traffic efficiently across multiple endpoints and mitigate DDoS attacks.

16. Immediate response to security incidents, including mitigation of attacks and restoration of services.

17. Post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Procurement, Renewal, Installation of Microsoft Licenses, Design,

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Managing and optimizing CDN solutions, with a focus on Azure CDN.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with Azure CDN configuration and management.
• Experience with content delivery network concepts, including caching, load balancing, and geo-distribution.
• Knowledge of web security principles and practices, including SSL/TLS and DDoS protection.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, and Azure Storage.
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates).
• Certifications:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams (a plus).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
