Job Description: DGM Head - Branch Operations
Position Summary:
The DGM-Head is responsible for overseeing the Branch P&L, end-to-end operations, and people management for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) business. This role focuses on driving business development, ensuring operational efficiency, managing supply chains, and
attaining safety compliance. The incumbent will play a key role in revenue retention, business expansion, and talent development.
Reporting to: Associate Vice President
Total Exp: 10-14 years
Location: Jogeshwari
Reportees: 8 Direct Reports (Overall Team Size 80)
Must Have Skills: P&L Mumbai & Pune + Managing B2B & B2C busines relations, Airport relations, ensure driver management (T& if it goes well then Pune will extended being a crutial
Language : Preferred Marathi
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Management:
- Manage branch profitability, including revenue and gross margins.
- Drive cost optimization and ensure efficient utilization of available resources.
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Implement technology platforms to improve processes and operations across functions.
- Ensure zero accidents and the safe travel of customer employees.
Business Development:
- Drive branch revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion in the EMS sector.
Safety and Compliance:
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure a safe and compliant operational environment.
Talent Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop branch team members to enhance performance.
- Foster a motivated and high-performing team through effective leadership and engagement.
Customer Retention:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to retain existing clients.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to align on branch objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Data Analytics and Financial Management:
- Analyze branch performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to track progress against branch goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in managing branch operations, P&L, and people management.
- Strong background in business development and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of EMS operations, safety compliance, and technology adoption is a plus.
- This role is pivotal in ensuring the branch operates efficiently, delivers on business goals, and maintains high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team management.
