JobDescription:

AMPA Orthodontics Pvt Ltd, operating under thebrand name makeO Toothsi Aligners, is seeking a Network and SecurityAdministrator to manage, monitor, and enhance our internal networkinfrastructure, firewall configurations, and overall network security. Thisrole is crucial to ensure seamless communication and data security across ouroffices, including our head office in Vikhroli, Mumbai, and outsourced officesconnected via MPLS.

KeyResponsibilities:

NetworkManagement:

Oversee the entire internalnetwork infrastructure at various locations, including Andheri, Chandivali, andVikhroli.

Monitor network performance,identify issues, and proactively address network-related problems.

Ensure that all offices areinterconnected efficiently, maintaining reliable communication channels.

FirewallConfiguration:

Manage and configure Sophosfirewalls across all locations, including the creation and modification offirewall policies.

Implement security best practicesto safeguard the network from threats and intrusions.

Regularly update and maintainfirewall rules and access controls.

MPLS Usage:

Monitor MPLS connections to ensureseamless communication and telephony services between offices.

Optimize MPLS bandwidth usage toenhance network performance.

Collaborate with vendors andservice providers to resolve MPLS-related issues.

Security and Alerts:

Implement security protocols andbest practices to protect the network and sensitive data.

Set up alerts and notificationsfor network security events and proactively respond to potential threats.

Conduct regular vulnerabilityassessments and penetration testing.

Policy Creation:

Develop and maintain networkpolicies and procedures to ensure a secure and efficient network environment.

Collaborate with the IT team toestablish and enforce IT security policies.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensivedocumentation of network configurations and changes.

Generate regular reports onnetwork performance, security, and usage.

Qualifications and Skills:

A bachelors degree in computerscience, information technology, or a related field.

Five to seven years of workexperience in the networking domain.

Proficiency in network equipmentfrom vendors like CISCO, Palo Alto, Arista, or similar providers.

Strong knowledge of the TCP/IPstack, switching and routing, network tooling, and automation.

Proficiency in one or moreprogramming languages like Python, Java, GoLang, etc.

Familiarity with enterprise anddata center networking devices and security and management tools.

Previous experience in designingand implementing reliable and secure network systems.

Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills.

Excellent communication andteamwork skills.
