Production Manager

Roles and Responsibilities
Production Planning:

Develop and implement production schedules based on customer orders, available resources, and production capacity.

Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw materials and components are available.

Monitor inventory levels to ensure that materials are stocked appropriately.

Team Management:

Supervise and manage a team of production workers, technicians, and operators.

Train, motivate, and evaluate staff performance according to work to ensure a high level of productivity and adherence to quality standards.

Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, discuss challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all products are manufactured in line with quality standards and specifications.

Implement and oversee testing procedures to monitor product quality at various stages of the production process.

Address any quality issues promptly and work on corrective actions.

Cost Control:

Monitor production costs and take proactive measures to reduce waste and optimize resources.

Analyze production performance data to identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.

Ensure the production process aligns with budget constraints.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.

Promote a safety culture and provide ongoing safety training to production staff.

Continuous Improvement :

Lead or participate in initiatives aimed at improving production efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing product quality.

Analyze production data and implement lean manufacturing techniques to optimize workflows.

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., engineering, R&D, and maintenance) to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Experience:

Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.

Experience in a specific industry (food production)

SALARY:

Depends upon your knowledge Experience in Food processing industry specially in Dry fruits or Breakfast Cereals .

Salary starting from 25k and upto 35k approx. if appropriate candidate
Candidate must have politeness and strong positive attitude to handle Labor and complete order deadlines of production.
