- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resources functions in our manufacturing facility.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, employee relations, talent management, recruitment, training and development, and other HR-related functions.
- This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:.
Employee Relations:.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive working environment.
- Resolve workplace conflicts, mediate disputes, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and engagement.
Training and Development:.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, safety knowledge, and productivity.
- Collaborate with departments to assess skill gaps and address workforce development needs.
- Organize leadership development programs and succession planning for key positions.
Compliance and Legal:.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other relevant policies.
- Maintain employee records, documentation, and certifications required for legal compliance.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure HR policies and practices are in line with industry regulations.
Performance Management:.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers with setting employee performance goals and conducting regular reviews.
- Address performance issues and provide recommendations for improvement, if needed.
Compensation & Benefits:.
- Administer employee compensation programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and company budget.
- Maintain and update employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, etc.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing:.
- Support programs promoting employee wellness and work-life balance.
- Monitor and report on health and safety initiatives and recommend improvements.
HR Reporting & Analytics:.
- Generate HR metrics, reports, and analysis on staffing, retention, and turnover.
- Provide insights to senior management regarding workforce trends and HR effectiveness.
- Regularly report on key HR initiatives, compliance issues, and employee engagement.
Qualifications:.
Education:.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field- .
Experience:.
- Minimum of- 12+- years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.
- Previous leadership or managerial experience is- mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and manufacturing industry regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
- Ability to resolve conflicts, negotiate, and handle sensitive issues.
- Proficient in HRIS systems, MS Office, and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Working Conditions:.
- Office-based with occasional time spent on the factory floor to interact with employees.
- Flexibility required, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on production schedules and HR emergencies.
