Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using Matillion for data integration between various source systems and target data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).

- Optimize ETL workflows to ensure high performance and scalability.

- Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from diverse sources such as APIs, files, relational databases, and SaaS platforms.

- Create transformation jobs in Matillion to cleanse, enrich, and aggregate data based on business requirements.

- Build and manage end-to-end workflows, incorporating dependencies, triggers, and scheduling in Matillion.

- Monitor and troubleshoot workflow execution to ensure successful data processing.

- Fine-tune ETL jobs for efficiency, minimizing resource usage and execution time.

- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

- Document ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows for future reference and compliance.

- Troubleshoot issues with data workflows and resolve failures in a timely manner.

Desired skills:

- Strong proficiency in Matillion and cloud data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).

- Solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation and transformation.

- Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash) for advanced transformations.

- Experience with API integrations and webhooks.
