Job description: Creative Director
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore
You Will:
- We are seeking a Creative Director with a passion for automobiles and a strong background in art direction, strategic thinking, and creative ideation.
- As part of the dynamic marketing team of an electric vehicle company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative narrative around our products, innovation, and brand ethos.
- This role demands the ability to visualize the future of automobile innovation and translate that vision into compelling campaigns, key arts, and content that resonates with a diverse global audience.
- You will work closely with teams across brand communication, content marketing, PR, social, and digital to ensure a unified and impactful message, establishing our EV products as leaders in their category.
To Be Successful, You Will Be Expected To:
Creative Visioning & Campaign Development:
- Visualize and craft the marketing narrative of brand and products through key art, videos, teasers, and campaign ideas that inspire.
- Translate technical product information into visually compelling and consumer-friendly narratives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align creative direction with business objectives and target audiences.
Art Direction & Production:
- Develop design briefs, visual references, and creative options for marketing assets like posters, product videos, website imagery, and social media content.
- Create comprehensive development suites, including sketches, color palettes, mood boards, and treatments.
- Direct photoshoots and video productions, ensuring creative alignment and excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with brand, PR, content, social, and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Work with R&D and product design teams to deeply understand the product and incorporate technical nuances into storytelling.
Talent & Agency Management:
- Lead brainstorming sessions with internal teams and external creative agencies to generate innovative marketing ideas.
- Manage relationships with creative agencies, freelancers, and production houses to deliver high-quality outputs on time.
Project Management & Strategy:
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Adapt creative strategies in response to market trends, audience insights, and stakeholder feedback.
- You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:
- Master's degree in fine arts, Marketing, Design, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience driving creative strategy and execution in a marketing, advertising agency, or in-house creative team.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Keynote.
- Experience in translating technical product features into consumer-centric creative outputs.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing creative teams, agencies, and freelancers to deliver high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives.
- Passion for automobiles is a plus.
A Day in the Life:
- Reading product specifications and testing feedback to understand the unique selling points of upcoming EV launches.
- Creating and refining creative briefs for campaigns around new product launches or brand initiatives.
- Ideating and conceptualizing visuals that address consumer concerns such as range anxiety, charging time, and accessibility.
- Evaluating outputs from agencies and providing actionable feedback to ensure alignment with the brand vision.
- Participating in cross-functional meetings to understand business challenges and delivering agile creative solutions.
- Budget management and drafting work-back plans to meet deliverables on schedule.
