Job Description
- Architect and evolve a modern, reusable web component library using Lit, ensuring compatibility with multiple platforms.
- Work with modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React and Vue.js to support integration of web components into existing applications.
- Maintain development of a WPF UI library, ensuring seamless integration and transition to Web Components, HTML5 usage with existing C#/Dotnet desktop applications.
- Establish best practices for component performance, accessibility, testability and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX, UI design, product management, and engineering, to deliver a cohesive design system.
- Understand business requirements and technical specifications to ensure that architecture decisions aligned.
- Drive alignment with global design system strategies and ensure consistency across various products.
- Mentor developers and promote software development best practices within the team.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in web component-based development and WPF.
- Strong expertise in Lit, Web Components, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, and basic expertise in C#/Dotnet for WPF applications.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frame works like Angular, React and Vue.js.
- Proven experience in requirements engineering, including creating, documenting, and managing requirements for large-scale systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and design system methodologies.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including requirements analysis, architecture design, and delivery, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Familiarity with version control systems (git), CI/CD pipelines (azure), and agile development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with common design systems or enterprise-scale platforms.
- Strong understanding of requirements traceability and tools for managing system requirements.
- Knowledge of Figma and experience in Figma-Dev Mode.
- Background in promoting communities and user-centered design practices.
