Credit Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Credit Evaluation: Ability to assess the financial health of borrowers, including reviewing credit reports, financial statements, income statements, and other financial documents.
• Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks associated with lending, including evaluating property value, borrowers repayment capacity, and market conditions.

• Understanding of LAP Products: Deep understanding of Loan Against Property (LAP), including types of properties accepted (residential, commercial, etc.), loan tenure, interest rates, and repayment structures.
• Loan Documentation: Expertise in understanding and preparing loan documentation, including agreements, promissory notes, and other legal documents required for LAP transactions.

• Property Valuation Knowledge: Understanding of property valuation methods and market trends, as the value of the property is crucial to securing the loan.
• Collaboration with Valuers: Ability to work with property appraisers and valuers to ensure accurate valuation of the property being used as collateral.
