Travel Planner (AM/Manager level) Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Travel Planner to join our team. As a Travel Planner, who will be responsible for coordinating and arranging travel itineraries for CMD, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. The role will involve researching destinations, making reservations, handling logistics, and providing exceptional options. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for travel.

Responsibilities:

1) Conduct thorough research on various travel destinations, including attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and local customs.

2) Assist CMD in selecting suitable travel packages, based on their preferences, comfort, and travel requirements.

3) Create detailed travel itineraries, including flight details, accommodation arrangements, transportation logistics, and activity recommendations.

4) Make reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services, ensuring all arrangements align with CMDs preferences and taste.

5) Coordinate with CMD to understand his specific needs and provide personalized travel recommendations.

6) Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel advisories, and visa requirements to provide accurate information and advice to CMD.

7) Handle travel documentation, such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, ensuring all necessary paperwork is obtained and organized.

8) Assist CMD with any travel-related inquiries or issues before, during, and after their trip, providing exceptional support/service and resolving problems promptly.

9) Collaborate with travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators, to negotiate rates, secure bookings, and ensure a seamless travel experience.

10) Maintain accurate records of interactions, travel arrangements, and financial transactions.

Requirements:

1) Previous experience as a Travel Planner, Travel Agent, or similar role. (Minimum 5 years)

2) Strong knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and travel industry trends.

3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with travel suppliers.

4) Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

5) Proficiency in travel booking systems and travel-related software.

6) Familiarity with travel documentation requirements, visa processes, and travel insurance.

7) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations during travel.

8) Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate CMDs needs.

9) A passion for travel and a strong customer service orientation.
