Snowflake Developer - Python/ETL (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable data pipelines and data warehouses on the Snowflake platform.

- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Snowflake.

- Optimize Snowflake queries and data models to improve performance and reduce costs.

- Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices.

- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.

- Mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL optimization techniques.

- In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.

- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Snowflake Snowpark.

- Knowledge of data virtualization tools.

- Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines
