Manager CAD Designer

Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of CAD designers to achieve design objectives.

2. Develop and implement design strategies to align with business goals.

3. Create innovative and commercially viable jewellery designs using CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD).

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production.

5. Ensure timely delivery of design projects and meet deadlines.

6. Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and design software.

8. Manage design budget, resources, and workflows.

9. Mentor and train junior designers to enhance their skills.

10. Ensure design quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

2. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the jewellery industry.

3. Proven experience in leading a design team.

4. Expertise in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD).

5. Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.

6. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
