Job Description

  • About The Role
  • This Subject Matter Expert position includes oversight and overall responsibility for technical topics within LH TA Operations team
  • This role requires strong operational Overview The makeup of the team includes Operational experts and Individual contributors fully responsible for the Market Specific LH TA processes
  • This role will also actively collaborate with regional stakeholders both inside and outside LH Reinsurance Operations
  • The position holder should have a strong talent management/development capability
  • In addition, critical thinking is desired for this position
  • This role demands excellent collaborative demeanor
  • The Major Responsibilities Are-
  • Guide and mentor fellow LH Technical Accountants, ensuring timelines are met and issues are raised in a timely manner
  • Handle Operational KPI's for market specific LH TA Operation team to achieve the targets agreed and service requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for ensuring processes run efficiently for the assigned market
  • Support Manager TA Asia Operations for operational management meetings; contribute towards projects initiatives related to Asia and Global regions
  • Ensure adherence regional/local regulatory requirements Data Protection aspects across the Asia markets
  • Drive Operational Excellence Efficiency through continuous process improvements
  • Proven ability to lead through changing market conditions, which may have operational impact on team
  • Engage with relevant partners and ensure process maintenance and improvement
  • Continuously improvise and maintain inventory of knowledge needed to build and maintain the product
  • Extend support in various LH projects like SRAL, Account Validation, Business Bound, Data management, IFRS, Claims analysis, Working capacity model, Early monitoring process, Portfolio management
  • About You
  • A Bachelor/Master degree in Business Management/ Science
  • Good experience in LH reinsurance/insurance industry with ability to work cross functionally and across geographies especially within Asia region
  • Experience and understanding of Asian market is desired
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Experience or working knowledge in one (or more) scripting languages and relational databases is a plus
  • Experience of prioritizing multiple partners often with challenging demands and deadlines
  • Ability and experience of working with customers and partners globally
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly committed, upbeat, proficient, reliable
  • Team focus and orientation towards customers and results
  • Strong process and Commercial attitude, with the ability to see the end-to-end process
