About The Role ::

Minimum 2-4+ years of Work experience on Android Systems and Internals. (NOT LOOKING for ANDROID APPLICATION DEVELOPER)

Hands on Development Experience on Linux based Systems.

Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving Skills.

2-5 years of relevant Industry Experience.

Ability to work in a team that requires collaboration within and outside the team.

Affluent with the Debug methodologies available on Android.

Affluent with Object oriented language and C++.

Good Programming & Debugging skills - in C, C++ or Java.

Embedded Linux background

Familiar with shell scripts & Python is Good to have.

Responsibilities:

In this role, (s)he will be working as Android Platform Engineer on Snapdragon chipsets.

Responsibility involves Android Bringup on Qualcomm Chipsets and debug system Level Issues.

Develop, Design and debug new/extend system level features on Android or Linux.

Build rapport with Google Android team to help resolve the Stability and xTS issues identified in AOSP code.

Get to understand the forward-looking New Features/Debug Functionality coming in Android & adapt them to QC Platform.

Part of Android Systems team whose prime responsibility is to Design/Implement/Drive-implementation of Android System level features across Android Tech verticals. Bring up of Android on new Snapdragon Chipset. Participate in System level design discussions and code reviews Should provide expert help/guidance to Tech teams in effective usage of Design/Debug capabilities provided by Android OS

Minimum Qualifications:
"¢ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

"¢ 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
"¢ 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
