Searce is looking for a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our delivery team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and modernizing legacy applications.
This role involves working closely with clients to understand their business needs and providing technical expertise to create efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.
Job Responsibilities :
- This position will be responsible to consult with clients and propose architectural solutions to help move & improve infra from on-premise to cloud or help optimize cloud spend from one public cloud to the other.
- Design and implement robust cloud solutions on AWS to meet organizational requirements.
- Leverage AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, and EKS to build and maintain solutions.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based applications.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure repeatable and automated deployments.
- Create and maintain Terraform modules and scripts for various cloud environments.
- Lead migration projects to move applications, workloads, and data from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for cloud readiness and optimization.
- Implement best practices for security, compliance, and governance in AWS environments.
- Manage IAM policies, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access.
- Confident working with others to inspire a high-quality standard.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- 7+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud and IT operational experience in a global enterprise environment.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS) and Terraform.
- Proven experience in designing and executing cloud migration projects.
- Strong understanding of AWS core services (e.g, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, and Firewalls.
- Good analytical, communication, problem-solving, and learning skills.
Preferred Certifications :
- AWS certifications (e.g , AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
