Job Description: Sales Manager - Project Department
Position Overview:
- The Sales Manager for the Project Department will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing strategic accounts within project-based industries.
- This role focuses on securing large-scale projects, building long-term client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project sales, a deep understanding of project lifecycles, and proven leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to target project-based opportunities, ensuring revenue growth and market penetration.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Identify and pursue large-scale project opportunities across key industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders involved in project-based sales.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to devise effective sales approaches.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Procurement, and Operations, to deliver tailored project solutions.
- Prepare and present project proposals, bids, and contracts to potential clients, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to enhance team effectiveness.
- Provide detailed sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to senior management.
