Job Description:
As the Production Shift Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing all production activities on your shift, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run efficiently and effectively. Your main duties will include:
1. Supervising and leading a team of production workers, ensuring that they are working safely and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards.
2. Coordinating with the production planning team to ensure that all materials and resources are available and allocated appropriately for each shift.
3. Monitoring production processes and identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
4. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the production team.
5. Participating in regular production meetings and providing input on production schedules, quality issues, and process improvements.
6. Collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to address any technical issues or equipment malfunctions that may arise during your shift.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role, preferably in the automotive or engineering industry.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team of production workers.
3. Solid understanding of production processes and manufacturing principles, with a focus on continuous improvement.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions in a fast-paced production setting.
6. A diploma or degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.
