Software Tester

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and design specifications.
2. Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring their resolution and proper closure.
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to understand project requirements and provide input during the design and development phases.
4. Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard testing tools, aiming to increase efficiency and coverage.
5. Perform both manual and automated testing for various software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
6. Analyze and interpret test results, providing clear and concise reports to stakeholders, and recommending necessary corrective actions.
7. Continuously enhance and evolve testing processes, methodologies, and best practices to improve product quality and team efficiency.
8. Mentor and guide junior members of the testing team, providing support and helping them improve their testing skills.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to software testing and quality assurance.
