PL-SQL Developer - DBMS (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and cursors.

- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Implement data governance policies, data security measures, and compliance standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to coding best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and unit testing activities.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex database issues.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in Oracle database technologies.

Qualifications :

- 4 - 6 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming language, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, cursors, and exception handling.

- In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts (tables, views, indexes, normalization).

- Solid understanding of Oracle SQL (including advanced queries and tuning techniques).

- Experience with Oracle database management tools (SQL-Plus, SQL Developer, Toad, etc.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with version control systems (Git preferred). (Optional, but a plus)

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Optional, but a plus)
