Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Professional to join our team at Samvedna Development Society
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing valuable insights for decision-making processes
Responsibilities:
- Management: Handle day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- and Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely submission of reports
- Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes
- Manage taxation matters including filing of tax returns, compliance with tax laws, and ensuring timely payment of taxes
- Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and mitigate risks
- and Planning: Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports
- Management: Oversee financial aspects of grants and funding received
- Ensure proper utilization of funds and compliance with donor requirements
- Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making
Qualification and Experience:
- Accountant with a valid membership of ICAI up to 2 years of hands-on relevant experience Skills understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and taxation laws in MS Excel and accounting software analytical and problem-solving skills communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Remuneration: The remuneration package for this position is negotiable and will be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on qualifications and experience
