Database Developer - AM

   Job Description

 Responsibilities:

* Develop database solutions by designing proposed system, physical structure and functional objects/artefacts.
* Develop architecture for data solutions.
* Ensure data solutions are built for performance, security and fault tolerance.
* Identify and analyse data capabilities for enterprise.
* Develop proof of concept
* Participate in the complete software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, TDD and XP.
* Provide excellent client facing service working with stakeholders across different geographical locations.
* Manage the assignment of specific responsibilities relating to project by coordinating with peers within the team for relevant roles and job functions

Education / professional qualifications

* Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Accounting, or a related course of study from an accredited college/university

Skills:
* Five to Six years of experience in database development and optimization. Working experience in MS SQL server / Azure SQL database.
* Three to 5 years of working experience in MS Power BI.
* Prior experience working on Azure or other cloud-based technologies is a must.
* Working knowledge of system architecture, normalization considerations and intersystem communication strategies.
* Working knowledge of DevOps basics.
* Working knowledge on software process such as source control management, change management, defect tracking and continuous integration
* Working experience in Alteryx, Azure data factory is a plus.
* Experience working in visualization tool such as Power BI is a plus.
* Experience in Designing Azure Data Solution is a plus.
* Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and work on different technologies based on market trends and needs.
* Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, and willingness to work hours as needed to meet business and client deadlines
* Ability to work on multiple client activities and meet with tight deadlines.
