Job Description: Jr. CMS Developer (Contentful Focus)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. CMS Developer with 1-3 years of experience in Content Management Systems (CMS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and developing Contentful-based solutions, along with proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL databases. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build, maintain, and enhance content-driven web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain web content using Contentful CMS.
Implement and configure Contentful content models, entries, and assets.
Build custom API integrations with Contentful to deliver dynamic, headless content.
Optimize performance and scalability of CMS-driven websites.
Work with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or MySQL, to manage data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to ensure seamless integration of CMS content with front-end applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMS functionality and performance.
Ensure adherence to web development best practices, including accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Stay updated with new CMS features, industry trends, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1-3 years of professional experience in CMS development and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with Contentful CMS (development, content modeling, API integration).
Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and headless CMS concepts.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Familiarity with Git version control systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, Drupal, Liferay, SharePoint,) is a plus.
Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for front-end integration.
Understanding of cloud platforms and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
