Urgent Opening - Power BI Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Data Integration and ETL:
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into data warehouses.
• Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data flow.
• Ensure data quality and consistency through data cleansing and validation processes.
• Power BI Development:
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop.
• Create data models and relationships within Power BI to support reporting requirements.
• Develop and implement DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculations and measures within Power BI.
• Ensure data security and access control through row-level security (RLS) in Power BI.
• Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain BI solutions that provide actionable insights.
• SQL Proficiency:
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Understand database structures and performance tuning.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Monitor the performance of SSIS packages and Power BI reports.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Documentation and Training:
• Document SSIS packages and Power BI reports for future maintenance & troubleshooting.
• Provide training to end-users on how to use Power BI reports and dashboards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language).
• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) & SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
• Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
