Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a safe work environment. This role requires strong knowledge of safety procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to conduct thorough investigations and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure the workplace complies with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

2. Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing reports with findings and recommendations for preventive measures.
• Ensure that all safety incidents are properly reported to relevant authorities as per legal requirements.

3. Safety Training & Awareness

• Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, ensuring they understand workplace safety protocols and best practices.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness across the organization.

4. Audits & Compliance

• Perform routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high safety standards.
• Stay updated with changes in safety laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all legal and industry requirements.

5. Emergency Response & Documentation

• Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety audits, risk assessments, incident reports, and employee safety training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify safety risks.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
• Valid certification in Occupational Health & Safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Civil and Interior Industry.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Familiarity with safety management systems and frameworks.
