Full Stack CodeIgniter Professional

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise PHP/CodeIgniter, Vue.js, MySQL database management, GitHub, and JIRA, along with a strong grasp of software development best practices. The candidate must possess excellent attention to detail, a good command of the English language, and the ability to work effectively during Australian business hours.

Key Responsibilities
-Develop, maintain and optimise web applications using CodeIgniter and Vue.js
-Manage and maintain MySQL databases efficiently
-Collaborate with team members via GitHub for version control and code reviews
-Track and manage tasks and development cycles using JIRA
-Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including code quality, security and performance optimisation
-Troubleshoot and debug application issues promptly
-Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements

Key Requirements
-Proven experience as a Developer with expertise in PHP (CodeIgniter) and Vue.js
-Strong understanding of MySQL database design, queries and optimisation
-Proficiency in GitHub for source control management
-Experience using JIRA for task tracking and project management
-Familiarity with software development best practices, including code documentation, testing and security protocols
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to write clean, maintainable code
-Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
-Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
-Availability to work Australian business hours
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications
-Extensive experience in REST API development and integration, including the design and implementation of robust and scalable services
-Prior experience working remotely with international teams, demonstrating strong communication skills and effective collaboration across multiple time zones
-Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices
-Exposure to testing frameworks for both front-end and back-end applications to ensure high code quality and reliability
-Knowledge of front-end optimisation techniques and strategies for addressing cross-browser compatibility issues
-Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and frameworks in a dynamic environment
