Job Description
Job Description:
- To decide on the treatment plan of Critically Ill patients admitted to the hospital.
- Should have a daily round of all patients admitted to the ICU.
- Should decide on the suitability of admission of a patient in ICU.
- Should decide on the readiness of a patient to be shifted out of ICU.
- Co-ordinate with the Primary/Secondary consultant and patients relatives regarding the condition of the patient.
- They should be competent for handling all emergencies.
- Should be alert and attend Code Blue call from any department / ward.
- Should be triaging the patients with respect to need of ICU stay.
- To attend all the patients daily.
- To play a key role in design, maintenance and up gradation of ICU.
- To conduct various training programmes of Junior Medical Staff and Nursing Staff.
