The role of a Senior Communications Coach involves establishing effective training methods and techniques to coach team members. In partnership with the Talent Effectiveness team, the coach will focus on designing and implementing a systematic curriculum and program that will enhance team members verbal, written and comprehension skills. Specific goals of the program will include but are not limited to voice modulation, accent neutralization, reading comprehension, business writing, and overall communication effectiveness. Responsibilities include conducting classroom setting training sessions for new and existing team members, developing modules on voice clarity and pronunciation, review of live interactions with internal and external parties and the facilitation of role-playing activities.
The Senior Communications Coach will assess voice and accent proficiency, provide feedback, monitor progress, and conduct refresher training sessions based on performance analysis. Additional duties include designing and updating training materials, collaborating with stakeholders to align content with business needs, and providing one-on-one coaching to meet communication standards. The Senior Communications Coach will work closely with practice groups to identify communication gaps and participate in call calibration sessions to meet consistent coaching standards. Maintaining detailed records of training sessions, preparing reports on training outcomes, and offering insights for continuous improvement are essential components of the position, highlighting the collaborative nature of the role
Duties
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Communications Coach to lead our high-performance voice process team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving the communication skills of our team members, focusing on voice modulation, accent neutralization, and overall communication effectiveness. This role is critical in ensuring our team members provide exceptional service to our diverse clients.
Responsibilities:
Training Delivery:
o Conduct communications related training sessions for new team members and existing teams.
o Develop and deliver training modules focused on voice clarity, intonation, pitch, and pronunciation.
o Facilitate role-playing activities and simulations to enhance real-world application of training.
Assessment and Feedback:
o Assess voice and accent proficiency through evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
o Monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
o Conduct regular refresher training sessions based on performance analysis.
Content Development:
o Design and update training materials, including manuals, scripts, and multimedia content, to ensure they are relevant and engaging.
o Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to align training content with business needs and client feedback.
Quality Assurance:
o Work closely with practice team to identify communication gaps and training needs.
o Participate in call calibration sessions to ensure consistency in coaching standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
o Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and performance metrics.
o Prepare reports on training outcomes and provide insights to management for continuous improvement.
People
Coaching and Mentoring:
o Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to achieve desired communication standards.
o Create personalized improvement plans for team members needing additional support.
Client
Maintain open communication with team members to understand their communication goals and challenges.
Support the team to improve on their phonetics, intonation including knowledge of speech sounds and patterns.
Work closely with the team on communication skills, to ensure improved client satisfaction
Assists in the ongoing development and enhancement of team members to improve written communication.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of 7-12 years of experience as an English communications educator.
Proven track record of successfully training and developing communication skills in a high-volume environment.
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong knowledge of English phonetics and linguistics.
Ability to adapt training techniques to suit various learning styles.
Proficiency in using industry standard training tools and software.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire trainees.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Rise, Canva, Outlook, and research.
Certificates and Licenses:
Relevant certifications in voice and accent training or communication skills training are preferred.
