Job Description

bachelors degree or graduate degree and 5+ years of related work experience
Proficiency or expertise with multiple solutions, including Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW, Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform
In-depth experience using T-SQL scripts (stored procedures, views, functions etc) to manipulate data and simplify access to data
Experience with data modelling (normalized and de-normalized data models), understanding of the appropriate purpose for each
In depth experience with one or multiple reporting tools, such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc, for data modelling and creating visualizations
Strong understanding of data lineage, with the ability to track data from source through reporting for accelerated troubleshooting
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external resources at all organizational levels
Excellent project management, organization, and follow-up skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Experience dealing with solving complex business challenges
Strong technical and business acumen and ability to speak about technology in the language of business
Ability to work in the Hyderabad, India office at least twice a week

Preferred Qualifications

Experience utilizing common source systems and front-end tools that produce data (ie NetSuite, Salesforce, Dynamics)
Experience with or expertise in responding to requests for proposal documents (RFP)
Experience presenting findings, solutions, and/or deliverables to clients, internally, and additional audiences
Professional certifications in cloud computing (eg, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, SnowPro Core) and/or big data technologies.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools

Position Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate within RSM s DDS Data & Analytics practice, you will work with various sized clients and receive hands-on client experience and you will be responsible for providing the highest level of operational support to RSM clients
The candidate must demonstrate willingness to go the extra mile for the team s success
They will be a problem solver, good communicator, creative thinker, fast learner, be detail-oriented, and interested in learning their clients business

You will be responsible for working with the Data & Analytics practice in the US to serve clients, by:

Model the core RSM values of respect and uncompromising integrity, succeeding together, excellence in all we'do, impactful innovation, stewardship: acting responsibly in all interactions with clients and team members
Develop an understanding of the RSM s DDS Data & Analytics practice approach, methodology and tools
Executing data & analytics solution delivery engagements
Discerning, defining, refining, and documenting client requirements
Thinking proactively and acting with complete follow-through
Building reports, dashboards and scorecards using a variety of tools to meet client requirements and measure client success
Collaborating and working effectively with consultants in other regions and practices
Providing ongoing support to existing data & analytics clients
Building out demonstration scenarios and prototypes for reporting & other data products
