Job Description
Purpose of the Role
Provide pricing and documentation to Sales for enquiries
Key Metrics of the Role
Well versed in the design and application of Connectors and Clamping.
- To read and understand the drawings and specifications.
- Should have understanding of Engineering Terms like tolerance, etc.
- Should have understanding of Materials
- Should be able to do Raw Material rate calculations, Product costing.
- Should have excellent skills for doing calculations.
- Should be able to understand customer specifications and reference IS/IEC/EN/NFC/etc. standards and suggest suitable product from the variations.
- Bring out deviations clearly which do not comply with customer specifications or reference standards
- Maintain enquiry register.
- For existing products, get accurate product costing from Engineering & VD team and logistics cost from logistic team.
-For new products, involve PM for business case, costing and documents.
Interact with relevant functions and maintain product documentation like GA drawings, Data Sheets, Type Test Reports, Product qualification reports and certificates, Quality Plans, Past supply details, Past approvals from customers, Performance certificates from customers, ISO certificates, product presentations, catalogues, competition mapping, etc.
-Provide pricing above budgeted margins to Sales with documentation
-Maintain MIS documents like Sales, Margins, Response Time, etc.
