About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Full stack development and Data Engineering to join our team.

This role will be pivotal in shaping both the user-facing and backend infrastructure of the Roundglass Foundation's data platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development, mobile app development, and data engineering, enabling seamless integration between front-end interfaces and backend data systems.

This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the entire stack, from the user interface to the data architecture, supports the foundation's programs and initiatives.

What you'll do :

- Design and implement comprehensive data models that align with the Foundation's goals

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability across multiple systems.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Develop strategies for effective data capture across various programs.

- Design and manage data collection frameworks to ensure accurate and timely data acquisition.

- Work closely with IT and data teams to integrate new data sources into the existing infrastructure.

- Architect and develop robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines.

- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data for analysis and reporting.

- Ensure that data pipelines are optimized for performance and maintainability.

- Build and manage analytics platforms that provide actionable insights to the Roundglass Foundation's leadership.

- Develop APIs to support data access, integration, and sharing across various applications.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create advanced analytics solutions.

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of web and mobile applications, ensuring responsiveness and scalability.

- Develop and maintain both client-side and server-side components using modern frameworks (e., React, Flutter, Node.js).

- Implement and manage APIs that facilitate communication between the frontend and backend systems.

- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance.

- Implement data security best practices to protect sensitive information.

- Monitor and audit data usage to prevent unauthorized access.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Product, and RGF Program teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.

- Mentor and guide junior data engineers and analysts in best practices and advanced techniques.

- Lead data architecture initiatives and contribute to the overall data strategy of the Foundation.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on full stack and data engineering.

- Proven experience in developing responsive web applications OR mobile applications with intuitive user interfaces.

- Strong background in building and managing data pipelines and analytics platforms.

- Proficiency in data modeling tools.

- Proficiency in modern front-end mobile app frameworks (e., React, Flutter) and backend technologies (e., Node.js, Python).

- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and other relevant languages.

- Experience in using databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI) and UI/UX design tools (e., Figma, Adobe XD).

- Familiarity with data warehouse, star schema, data pipelines (e.AirByte, NocoDB)

- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

- Experience in Elasticsearch is plus.
