Job Description :

We are seeking an Azure Architect with 10 to 15 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, best practices, and modern technologies to architect scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that are aligned with business objectives.

As an Azure Architect, you will be responsible for driving the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions, ensuring they meet security, compliance, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of large-scale Azure cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

- Develop comprehensive architecture diagrams that illustrate high-level designs, deployment strategies, and the integration of various Azure services.

- Architect and implement hybrid cloud solutions, seamlessly integrating on-premises systems with Azure cloud environments to enable smooth operations and optimize workflows.

- Utilize core Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage, Networking, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Functions, and SQL Database to design robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

- Design solutions for containerized and microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes, enhancing application scalability and flexibility.

- Lead the implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like ARM, Bicep, and Terraform to automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure.

- Design and implement secure cloud architectures, ensuring that all Azure deployments adhere to industry standards and security best practices.

- Work with security teams to develop security frameworks that protect sensitive data and applications while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

- Integrate identity management solutions (e., Azure Active Directory) to enable secure authentication and authorization for cloud resources.

- Optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of Azure solutions.

- Provide recommendations for cost management and resource optimization, ensuring the most efficient use of Azure resources.

- Monitor the performance of deployed solutions and suggest improvements to enhance system performance.

- Collaborate with internal teams (e., development, IT, security, and operations) to ensure the successful implementation of cloud solutions and address any technical challenges.

- Provide L3/L4 technical support to resolve complex issues, troubleshoot, and guide teams in the implementation of cloud solutions.

- Lead and mentor a team of architects and developers, guiding them in best practices and ensuring the adherence to architectural principles.

- Architect solutions that integrate Azure with other cloud platforms (e., AWS or GCP), ensuring seamless operations across a multi-cloud environment.

- Design hybrid cloud solutions that connect on-premises infrastructure with Azure, leveraging Azure's ExpressRoute and VPN Gateway for secure connectivity.

- Automate cloud infrastructure deployments and configurations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform to improve operational efficiency.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams to automate code deployment and management processes.

- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and trends to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge solutions.

- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of architecture standards, guidelines, and methodologies across the organization.

Technical Skills Required :

- 10 to 15 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 8 years of experience specifically in Microsoft Azure.

- Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing large-scale cloud solutions on Azure, including architecture design, performance tuning, security, and cost management.

- Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture and integration with on-premises environments.

- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like ARM, Bicep, Terraform, and automation with PowerShell or Azure CLI.

- Experience with security practices such as identity management, network security, encryption, and compliance standards in the cloud.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and microservices architectures (e., Docker, Kubernetes)
