Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO Strategy Development and Execution:

- Develop, implement, and continuously optimize a comprehensive SEO strategy to enhance online visibility, drive organic traffic, and grow digital leads.

- Create and execute effective content strategies that align with SEO goals, focusing on high-volume, high-conversion search terms in the financial services and brokerage domain.

- Identify and leverage new SEO opportunities, keeping ahead of the curve with the latest digital trends and updates in search engine algorithms.

2. Organic Growth and Performance Management:

- Own the SEO performance, including keyword rankings, traffic growth, conversion rates, and ROI.

- Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Work closely with the digital marketing team to integrate SEO strategies into other online marketing efforts like SEM, paid media, and content marketing.

3. Cross-Department Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and technology teams to ensure website optimization for SEO performance, improving overall user experience.

- Partner with the content team to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic and user engagement.

- Work with business development and sales teams to identify SEO-driven growth opportunities and lead generation strategies.

4. Competitive Analysis & Industry Trends:

- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in SEO strategies and propose actionable insights to stay ahead of the competition in the digital brokerage space.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, SEO trends, and search engine algorithm updates to ensure Kotak Securities' SEO strategy remains cutting-edge.

5. Team Leadership and Mentorship:

- Lead and manage a team of SEO specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for their professional development.

- Cultivate a culture of experimentation, innovation, and results within the SEO team.

- Foster collaboration between SEO and other digital teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.

6. Reporting & Analytics:

- Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance, adjusting strategies based on data and performance insights.

- Leverage tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others to track performance, understand user behavior, and identify opportunities.

- Provide strategic recommendations based on analysis of conversion funnels, traffic trends, and user behavior to optimize digital assets.

7. Content Optimization & Website Structure:

- Ensure the website architecture, internal linking, and content structure is fully optimized for both SEO and user experience.

- Optimize the site's technical SEO (site speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data, etc.) and collaborate with development teams to implement improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven Expertise: Minimum 10 years of experience in SEO, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the financial services or brokerage industry is highly desirable.

- SEO Mastery: Deep understanding of all aspects of SEO - on-page, off-page, technical, and content strategies.

- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).

- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute a scalable, result-oriented SEO strategy that aligns with business goals.

- Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing and growing high-performing teams. Ability to inspire and lead by example.

- Digital Marketing Expertise: Understanding of other digital channels like SEM, social media, and content marketing as they relate to SEO and organic growth.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Brokers or Trading Platforms: Personal interest in trading or previous experience working with other brokerage firms is a significant advantage.

- Technical SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced technical SEO concepts such as site architecture, crawl budget optimization, and schema markup.

- Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving digital landscape. Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change within an organization.
