Nippon Life India Asset Management - Senior/Chief Manager - Credit (10-12 yrs)

Key responsibilities:.

- Origination of high yield private credit transactions through direct interactions with the issuers/market participants.

- Regularly connecting with various corporate groups and market participants for potential transactions.

- Ensuring closure of transactions which fit within the fund's credit appetite/framework.

- Understanding of the credit philosophy of the fund and assisting the fund management team as may be required.

- Facilitating interactions of the fund management team with the issuers and market participants.

- Assisting in market checks on existing and new issuers, businesses and sectors.

- Gathering market intelligence around trades happening in the target space.

- Assisting in various fund/business plan presentations and communications.

Role Specific Competencies:.

- Strong connects with mid to large corporates.

- Strong connects with various market intermediaries on both sell and buy side.

- Good understanding of high yield private credit transactions in respect of both structuring and credit metrics.

- Ensuring end to end closure of the transactions.

Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp:.

- Preferably qualifications in finance domain including CA/CFA/PGDM (Finance) or any relevant work experience across NBFCs/AIFs/DCMs/Mid-Market business in Banks.

- Looking for candidates with experience of around 10 years or more in origination and end to end deal closures.
