We are looking for an SAP Engineer to own the design and development of PaloAlto s next-generation Sales and Distribution, Material Management, Hardware Shipping, Subscription Billing, R2R, Revenue, Customer Master modules on various Initiatives. You will be part of the Enterprise Applications team responsible for and own SAP Order to Cash, Record to Report, Revenue, integrations with partners and other SaaS systems to support various business functions and systems capabilities. We are transforming our software delivery practices to bring in greater agility.

Your Impact
Own drive the technical design of Palo Alto s next-gen On-Prem, Hardware, SaaS business model as a product to meet future needs, scalability, keeping industry-leading best practices in mind
Be part of and drive the design, engineering efficiency and optimize the development process for continuous product delivery
You will design and implement RICEW technical objects and its deliverables to ensure production readiness in O2C, MM, R2R, Revenue and custom Integrations space
You will deliver solutions using SAP standard APIs, Import programs or custom interfaces (using BAPI, BADI, and custom extensions), and Workflow. These solutions could be real-time integration or batch processing depending on the transaction volume
You will be working on cutting-edge cloud technologies including B2B (API Based) EDI integrations
Implement solutions to streamline processes, reduce redundancy, and enhance internal customer experience
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Maintenance and Support
Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively to minimize downtime and customer impacts
Conduct regular audits of data quality and integrity, implementing corrective actions as necessary
Provide ongoing support and training to users, ensuring they are equipped to leverage SAP effectively
Best Practices and Documentation
Establish and enforce best practices for SAP development and configuration.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and business units, to align SAP Std capabilities with business objectives
Mentor junior SAP ERP engineers and provide guidance on complex projects
Qualifications
Your Experience
BE/B.tech Engineering or equivalent technical degree is mandatory or equivalent military experience required
An overall experience of 8+ years in SAP S/4 Hana with strong programming skills in SAP S/4 Hana, ABAP, Fiori (Ui5), OData Services, SQL, and Java. Python is a plus.
Experience working on technical deliverables in SAP SD and SAP FI modules with a good understanding of the process in OTC and R2R.
You will feel comfortable in building high-performance, highly available and scalable distributed systems.
Worked in a multi-stack system integrations landscape with Snaplogic, SAP PI, and Rest APIs.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies
Technical Skills:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in crafting / developing / maintaining a highly scalable and resilient system on SAP S/4 Hana platform.
8-9 years of experience with significant depth in SDLC Agile practices of enterprise-class products.
Demonstrated ability to understand product design and architecture.
Experience in crafting creative technical solutions to difficult problems
Proven track record of recruiting and retaining top engineering talent.
Experience in delivering highly scalable products
Multiple end-to-end project experience in Order to Cash, Record to Report and Revenue application, and 3rd party integration systems
Hands on experience of ASAP methodology, SOLMAN based deployments, SAPs Best Practices
Strong Interpersonal skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation/ leadership skills (oral and written). Comfortable working with senior executives.
Certifications
SAP Certified Technical Specialist (preferred)
Additional SAP certifications are a plus
