Key skills for the job
Roles and Responsibility:
1. Support the non-production procurement in India, undertake procurement demands from company's departments; search for adequate vendors based on budgets; management of contracts and payments
2. procurement categories include but not limited to Media communication, Manpower outsourcing, professional services and logistics; dedicated to budget management and cost saving.
3. Receive support and guidance from HQ; assist in establishing and improving the procurement management system and process; ensure business compliance.
4. Sort out and optimize India vendor resources, work out and implement procurement strategies for each category together with HQ in China.
5. Conduct vendor market analysis and vendor performance evaluations regularly, and produce vendor development strategies to build good vendor relationship.
Competency:
1. Bachelor degree or above; at least 5 years working experience about non-production procurement; understand business demands for various procurements and local market.
2. Great capability of business negotiation, project management and pressure resistance.
3. Excellent ability of market analysis and market resource integration, able to carry out effective cost analysis and resource planning.
4. Strong communication skills and team work spirit, able to adapt to cross-cultural and cross-time communication. 4. Good occupation ethics, willing to learn and take on challenging work.
Skills Required:
1. Able to deal with smart and tough process owners/ external vendors patiently and smoothly.
2. Able to assess the vendor performance for his past service/delivery and can get the new potential vendor on time to challenge cost with same deliverables.
3. The one who can speak Chinese is preferred.
