NeoSky India Limited is a leading provider of innovative drone solutions, catering to a diverse range of industries and government sectors. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bidding Manager to lead the tender and proposal management processes within our dynamic and fast-growing drones industry organization. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in bid management, preferably in the technology or aerospace sectors, with a strong understanding of government and private tendering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Management:
- Lead end-to-end preparation, submission, and management of bids and proposals for government and private tenders in the drones sector.
- Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents to ensure complete understanding and compliance.
Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, finance, and legal, to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals.
- Draft high-quality bid documents tailored to client requirements, showcasing the company's technical expertise and value proposition.
Costing and Pricing:
- Develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies in collaboration with finance teams.
- Ensure bids are commercially competitive while maintaining profitability for the organization.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all bid documents meet regulatory, legal, and contractual compliance requirements.
- Maintain thorough records of bid submissions, outcomes, and feedback for continuous improvement.
Market Intelligence and Research:
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and government policies affecting the drones sector.
- Identify upcoming tenders and business opportunities to align with organizational goals.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and networking events to gather insights and strengthen partnerships.
Post-Bid Analysis:
- Conduct detailed reviews of bid outcomes to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Utilize client and stakeholder feedback to enhance future bid strategies.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of government and private tendering processes in the drones or related technology sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in pricing and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and tender management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of drones, UAV technology, or aerospace industry is a strong advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in tender/bid management, preferably in technology or aerospace domains.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and clients in a high-pressure environment.
