Position Title: Business Analyst

Role Overview:
The Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between the President and Heads of Departments (HODs) to ensure efficient communication, coordination, and execution of business strategies. This role involves managing multiple lines of business, conducting detailed analyses, preparing reports, and facilitating effective decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a bridge between the President and HODs, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of business goals.
- Coordinate and follow up on action points from meetings to ensure timely execution of decisions.
Business Review and Analysis:
- Conduct regular business reviews by gathering data from multiple departments.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable insights.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the President based on analysis of business trends and data.
Meeting Management:
- Organize and manage meetings for the President, including scheduling, agenda setting, and documentation.
- Take detailed minutes of meetings, highlighting key decisions, action items, and deadlines.
- Track progress on action items and provide updates to the President.
Data Reporting and Insights:
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the President, summarizing business performance and future projections.
- Work closely with HODs to compile and validate data for accurate reporting.
- Develop dashboards for monitoring critical metrics across multiple lines of business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HODs and other stakeholders to identify and resolve challenges in business operations.
- Facilitate inter-departmental initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation.
Special Projects:
- Assist the President in managing special projects, from planning and execution to monitoring progress and outcomes.
- Provide research support for new business opportunities or challenges.
Skills and Competencies:
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with senior management and preparing reports.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proactive in building relationships across departments and levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong aptitude for identifying and addressing business challenges.
- Technological Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools; familiarity with business intelligence software is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of working closely with C-level executives.
Key Deliverables:
- Comprehensive business performance reports with actionable insights.
- Accurate and timely minutes of meetings.
- Effective coordination between the President and HODs.
- Proposals and dashboards for tracking and improving business performance.
