QA Engineer

Requirements:

1. Minimum 2+ years of Proven experience as a QA Tester preferably in BFSI domain.

2. Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices

3. Mandatory experience in Web, Mobile and API Testing

4. Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing & Validation.

5. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile development environment.

6. Experience in any automation tool (eg. Java & Selenium, Rest Assurance etc)

7. Experience in working Unix/Linux environment and Familiarity with command-line operations. 8. Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).

9. Good to have Experience in JS-based frameworks like - Cypress, Playwright, and WebDriver IO would be an advantage.

10. Good to have experience in Performance, Security (OWASP Top 20), ETL Testing

11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

12. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

13. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. 14. Candidate should have grip on existing application workflow

15. Candidate should be able to participate in Business requirement meeting, understand the business requirement and prepare the test cases

16. Experience in Load Testing of API.

17. Candidate should have good understanding of TDD approach

18. Experience in delivering the work on a tight schedule.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product to understand product requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.

2. Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for web, Android and iOS applications.

3. Perform thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, database, API and performance testing.

4. Identify, document and track software defects using bug tracking tools (eg. Jira, Bugzilla)

5. Verify bug fixes and perform retesting to ensure issues are resolved.

6. Provide regular status updates on testing progress and report any issues or risks to the project team.

7. Provide detailed and well-structured test Reports

8. Stay current with industry best practices and testing methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.

9. Ensure Software product meets customer expectations and requirements
