**Position Summary:**
The Senior Manager Marketing, Admissions & Outreach will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to promote the universitys programs, drive student admissions, and enhance the institutions visibility and outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the higher education landscape, and a proven track record in digital and traditional marketing, stakeholder engagement, and student recruitment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Planning and Execution:**
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and outreach strategies for student recruitment, with a focus on increasing brand visibility and driving admissions.
- Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events, etc.) to attract prospective students.
- Collaborate with academic departments and senior leadership to align marketing strategies with institutional goals.
2. **Student Recruitment & Outreach:**
- Lead efforts to engage prospective students through targeted outreach initiatives, including fairs, webinars, information sessions, school visits, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Identify and build partnerships with educational institutions, high schools, and other relevant organizations to enhance recruitment opportunities.
- Oversee the development of promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content that resonate with target audiences.
3. **Digital Marketing & Content Strategy:**
- Drive the university’s online presence through website management, SEO, social media, email marketing, and other digital channels.
- Work closely with the creative team to develop engaging content (articles, videos, blogs, etc.) to boost online visibility and student engagement.
- Use data analytics to track, measure, and optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
4. **Branding and Public Relations:**
- Build and maintain a strong brand identity for the university and ensure consistent messaging across all communication platforms.
- Collaborate with PR agencies to secure media coverage and manage university events, conferences, and workshops that promote RTU’s image.
- Handle external communications with media, influencers, and other stakeholders to strengthen brand positioning.
5. **Admissions Process Oversight:**
- Oversee the student application process from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all prospective students.
- Implement strategies to increase conversion rates from application to enrollment.
- Analyze admissions data to identify trends and implement improvements to the admissions funnel.
6. **Team Leadership and Coordination:**
- Lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals, admissions counselors, and outreach coordinators.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to staff, ensuring high levels of motivation, performance, and collaboration.
- Manage budgets for marketing campaigns and outreach activities to ensure effective use of resources.
7. **Market Research and Reporting:**
- Conduct market research to identify new recruitment opportunities, understand competitors, and stay ahead of trends in higher education marketing.
- Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of marketing and admissions efforts, providing actionable insights to senior management.
**Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A background in education or higher education marketing is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, admissions, or outreach, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in digital marketing, brand management, and student recruitment strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, CRM, email marketing platforms, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge of the higher education landscape and student behavior trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
