Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Analyse financial performance, including ROI on marketing and sales initiatives, and report to senior management.
Team Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and sales team, fostering professional growth and high morale.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing training to enhance team capabilities.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with other executive team members to ensure alignment of marketing and sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to the executive team and board of directors, communicating key metrics and strategic insights.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Identify potential risks related to marketing and sales activities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- MBA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role and having specific experience in Container Freight Station (CFS) industry.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of container freight stations and logistics operations.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
