Ecommerce Manager (Marketplaces: Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit)
Location: Bangalore, Indiranagar
Working Days: 5 days, 9:30am - 6:30pm
Job description: Manager - Ecommerce
- This role will involve strategy development, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize sales, customer experience, and profitability in the ecommerce domain.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy and Planning :
- Develop and execute the business plan for quick commerce and marketplace platforms.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities, define sales, revenue, and profitability targets for each platform.
Channel Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with quick commerce and marketplace platforms.
- Onboard new platforms and negotiate favorable terms and commissions.
- Regularly monitor platform performance and optimize product visibility, pricing, and promotions.
Product and Catalogue Management:
- Ensure accurate and attractive listings with updated product descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Optimize product discoverability through SEO, keyword strategy, and A+ content.
- Manage inventory across platforms to avoid stockouts or overstocking issues.
Campaigns and Promotions:
- Plan and execute platform-specific marketing campaigns and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to drive traffic and conversions.
- Track ROI and performance metrics of campaigns to ensure optimal spending.
Operations and Logistics:
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless order processing, packaging, and delivery.
- Monitor order fulfillment rates and minimize SLA breaches or delivery delays.
- Collaborate with platforms to implement quick commerce-specific operational requirements.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales data, customer behavior, and platform performance.
- Generate actionable insights to improve traffic, conversion rates, and AOV (Average Order Value).
- Prepare regular reports on platform performance for senior management.
Customer Experience:
- Monitor and address customer reviews and feedback to improve satisfaction.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve escalations effectively.
Compliance and Financials:
- Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and legal requirements.
- Manage P&L for the quick commerce and marketplace channels.
- Oversee reconciliation of payments, returns, and platform fees.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in ecommerce, with at least 2 years in quick commerce and marketplace management.
- Proven experience working with platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, etc.
