Job Description
Mandatory Skills:
Proficient in JAVA or Python with HANDS ON experience in libraries like MSAL (Microsoft Authentication Library) or other OAuth/OIDC libraries.
Scope of Work:
1. Software Development & Coding: Proficient in programming languages (e.g., .NET, C#, Java, Python) and frameworks used by the application. Familiarity with libraries like MSAL (Microsoft Authentication Library) or other OAuth/OIDC libraries. - this is a must!
2. Modern Authentication Protocols Development: Ability to implement authentication and authorization flows within the application (e.g., token handling, refresh tokens, SSO). Knowledge of how to replace legacy authentication (e.g., LDAP, WS-Fed) with modern protocols like OIDC, SAML.
3. API Integrations: Experience in integrating with third-party APIs for authentication, data, or services. Understanding of secure API calls, token-based authentication, and API scopes.
4. Testing & Validation: Ability to design and execute comprehensive testing plans for identity modernization, including security, performance, and functionality tests. Skills in troubleshooting authentication errors and debugging integration issues.
