Job Description


  • Developing and implementing quality standards.
  • Implementing quality control systems across the Engineering and Technical Centre of Excellence teams.
  • Monitoring and analysing quality performance internal and to external suppliers.
  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
  • Defining KPIs and metrics for quality engineering teams and for the engineering and technical centre of excellence teams.
  • Mentoring, development, priority management and coaching for Quality Engineering staff


Work Experience
15 years of quality assurance experience preferably in solar or onshore renewables sector.
Proven experience in multidisciplinary projects delivering renewable energy projects across the globe.
Proven experience in leading teams delivering quality management systems and quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Strong background in engineering
Required Professional Competencies / Soft Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written with both internal teams and external suppliers
Dedication to fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Excellent communicator
Used to work in global teams and global projects
Teams and people management
Required Education Certification
MSc. Engineering degree
Knowledge in QMS software tools and methodologies.
Appropriate professional accreditation in quality systems and/or quality assurance
Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Plannin g , (APQP) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Knowledge of ISO900 and related standards
