IBM Sterling SI Support Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support for IBM Sterling SI applications, ensuring high availability and performance.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to EDI transactions and integration processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.

Assist in the configuration and deployment of IBM Sterling components and integrations.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Participate in on-call support rotation and provide timely responses to incidents.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends and IBM Sterling updates to enhance system capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in IBM Sterling Integration (SI) support or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).

Experience with production support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Familiarity with IBM Sterling software components and integrations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
