Detailed Role and Responsibilities :
At the direction of the Business Continuity Program Manager (PM), the analyst will :
- Create a process and complete a map and gap of all existing Juniper Business Continuity plans including critical business processes to the appropriate go-forward HPE BC Plan.
- Ensure that thorough business impact analyses and risk analyses are performed on Juniper processes/activities and services/functions and that those are mapped to the correct go forward HPE L1 organization.
- Liase with HPE BC Plan owner, practitioner, lead, sponsor to incorporate Juniper BC strategies into the HPE plans
- Develop a management of change process for Juniper counterparts to be aware of HPE's BC program, including BC Planning process, standards, and requirements
- Develop a project plan and timeline for all aspects of Juniper BC to be incorporated into the HPE process and until such time, establish a process to maintain existing Juniper BC materials.
- Train Juniper team members on HPE BC planning process (including training users of the BC planning tool HPE uses) and HPE Business Resilience programs overall
- Maintain regular engagement with BC stakeholders specific to Juniper integration efforts
- Identify Juniper 3rd party suppliers and assess their business continuity preparedness in line with HPE standards
- Support the development and maintenance of all existing BC program collateral based on a predetermined review frequency and record retention policies
- Identify and capture relevant Business Continuity program metrics monthly
- Monitor global events, identify Juniper locations/BC Plans impacted and communicating where appropriate to BC Leads
Additional Job Description :
- Manage and administer the BC tool to support the program goals, including new releases, modifications, reporting requirements, and system enhancements
- Maintain situational awareness at a global level in terms of potential business continuity risks to HPE/Juniper personnel, facilities, assets and/or operations
- Manage intermediate level projects and assist on advanced program initiatives
- Manage BC artifacts, training materials, and all content on the Business Resilience web page(s) and SharePoint sites
- Drive BC awareness across the company and develop materials for BC awareness activities
Additional Job Description (Education, Experience, and Skills) :
- Bachelor's Degree (e.g., IT, business) or equivalent in professional experience and qualifications (Min of 2-year experience in similar industry)
- Working knowledge in business continuity practices
- Working knowledge of IT systems, database tools, such as SQL queries, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc. required
- Background or interest in global affairs/geo-political awareness preferred
- Ability to develop and implement actionable plans
- Ability to be effective in both collaborative and individual contributor environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, reporting and strong interpersonal skills
- Significant capacity for detail and interrelationship reasoning
- Ability to analyze and assess data, identify and address problems, and to create proactive solutions
- Strong organizational, time management and planning skills
- Rapid work style with very high capacity to handle multiple activities simultaneously
- Adept in using MS Office Suite (including Teams and SharePoint) as well as other personal productivity tools
- Experience with integrations a plus
