Job Title: Project Insurance Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Experience Required: Overall 5Years (2-5 Years in General Insurance Industry (no career gaps)
Academic: Bachelor's degree or higher.
Technical/Professional Knowledge: Strong expertise in non-EB insurance products, with a focus on Project Insurance, including EAR (Erection All Risks), CAR (Contractor's All Risks), Fire, Marine, and Liability lines.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with online research tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email drafting.
Presentation Skills: Advanced PowerPoint skills for client presentations.
Job Responsibilities:
Client Assessment & Engagement:
- Review and analyze clients' background information and financial status.
- Engage with clients to understand and outline their project insurance needs, and deliver a detailed requirements document within 1-2 business days.
Insurance Requirement Analysis:
- Assess the unique complexities of each client project to align associated risks with suitable insurance coverage.
RFQ Management:
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) to insurers, tailored to client-specific project risks and requirements.
Negotiation with Insurers:
- Engage with underwriters, discussing client requirements and negotiating terms and coverage to best meet project needs.
Quotation Comparison & Client Presentation:
- Evaluate insurer terms across key parameters and prepare a Quote Comparison Sheet (QCS).
- Present the QCS to clients in a comprehensive and engaging manner.
Policy Placement:
- Draft and issue a placement slip to the selected insurance company once payment is received, finalizing terms for policy issuance.
Documentation & Record Maintenance:
- Maintain meticulous records of all documentation, including policies, RFQs, final quotes, insurer communications, and placement slips.
CD Balance Management:
- Monitor and report Certificate of Deposit (CD) balances as required.
