Lead Cloud Engineer - Azure/Google Cloud Platform (8-10 yrs)

About the Job :

Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) is seeking an experienced Cloud Lead to lead a team of cloud engineers and manage cloud infrastructure and solutions across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This leadership role requires strong hands-on experience in cloud architecture, migration, and security services, along with excellent communication and team management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of cloud engineers in the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions on Azure and GCP.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance for cloud architecture and migration initiatives.

- Develop, maintain, and improve security services and capabilities for cloud-based applications.

- Perform security reviews, audits, and threat assessments on cloud environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable and secure cloud solutions.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security for cloud applications.

- Lead the migration of on-premises systems to cloud environments (Azure/GCP).

- Conduct cloud cost management and optimization activities.

- Present and communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications :

Must-Have Requirements :

- Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud solutions (Azure and GCP).

- Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical role, specifically in developing and maintaining new security services, technologies, and capabilities.

- Azure Administrator Certification (AZ-104) is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of Azure Cycle Cloud and AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Administration.

- Expertise in cloud security, including performing security reviews, audits, and threat assessments on cloud applications.

- Proven leadership and team management skills in cloud engineering teams.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
