Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Support production team for productivity improvement and cost reduction

2. Works with Technical Advisors and plant personnel to optimize operations, meet business and plant goals

3. Provide engineering support to the manufacturing site

4. Mass and Energy balance for existing process and identify the gap

5. Preparation of BFD, PFD and P&ID

6. Manage management of change and process hazard reviews

7. Identify and lead manufacturing process efficiency and improvement projects

8. Coordinate with cross functional teams on various initiatives

9. To drive sustainability themes (Water conservation, energy reduction, waste reduction etc)

10. Lead/Participate in PSSR, HAZOP, HAZAN, QRA etc.

11. Provides equipment operation and process training to equipment operators and others

12. Coordinate manufacturing and laboratory processes

13. Analyzes batch cycle times, Consumables, Utility consumption and identification of various improvement themes to reduce cost, improve reliability and safety

Investigates off-grade or abnormal batches, Preparation of CAPA and implementation of CAPA. Review of CAPA for its successful implementation

* Candidates from Chemical and Pharma industries are preferred.
